The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people

To promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

To mark this momentous occasion, you are encouraged to hoist the flag in your homes from 13^th to 15^th August 2023.

Apart from this, you can also ‘Pin a Flag’ virtually at https://harghartiranga.com, along with posting a ‘Selfie with Flag’ on the site.

By visiting the official website, you can register for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and celebrate 75 years of independence. From August 13 to August 15, 2023, citizens of the nation can pin a flag to the portal.
Therefore, citizens who wish to register must first visitharghartiranga.com.

The home page will be displayed in front of you. You have to click on the option of “pin up flag”.
After clicking on it, a new page will open and you will need to grant location services and permission before filling out the form.

There are only two required fields on the form: your name and your mobile phone number.
Then, you must upload a photo of yourself with the Indian flag that serves as your profile picture.
Then you must select the option next.
Then, you must adjust the precise location on the map of the area from which the flag was hosted.
The flag will then be pinned to the map and an acknowledgment will be displayed.

After registering online, citizens can download a .png certificate. Follow these steps to download a certificate for pinning a flag during Azadi ka Mahotsav.
Visit the website harghartiranga.com to access the official harghartiranga.com. Campaign website.
On the homepage, attach a flag to the wall of the portal.
You’ll need to make some adjustments to the spot where the city intends to plant the flag.
The notification indicating that the action was completed successfully will appear on the screen as soon as the flag has been pinned successfully.
The option to download the certificate will also be displayed in the prompt when it comes up. To download the certificate, select the option to do so.
The opening of the certificate will be displayed on the screen.
Tap the Download button to save the certificate to your device offline as a png image.
Tap the option labelled “Share” if you want to save the certificate.
